Engineering Services serves as an engineering and construction resource for professional engineering needs in County Departments and Towns; projects include: sidewalk specifications/construction, bridge & dock construction, herring runs, road & municipal building specifications, fuel farm, beach erosion field reviews.
The County Engineering Department continues to serve all County Departments, the six Island Towns, and the Town of Gosnold with engineering expertise in design, permitting, project development, and construction supervision.
Under the guidance of the County Engineer, many County and Town projects have been undertaken and several are under construction or are in use today. There are currently many other projects in the permitting and design stage and some should come to fruition within the next year.
