The public release of the recommended sustainability indicators will be
part of an evening MVC forum this Wednesday, July 20, at the Polly Hill
Arboretum titled: "Paradise Lost? Are we loving the Vineyard to death?"
In addition to presenting the indicators, several speakers will address
sustainability issues on the Vineyard, which will be followed by a
discussion in which the audience is encouraged to participate.
I hope you plan on joining us to discuss the issue of sustainability and
what steps the Island community can take to direct us on to a more
sustainable path. Light refreshments and copies of the indicators will be
available at 7:00 p.m. and the forum will begin at 7:30 at the Far Barn.
