Animal Shelter of Martha's Vineyard
The Animal Shelter of Martha's Vineyard in Edgartown (old MSPCA location) is open Wednesday to Saturday 8.30am to 2.30pm.

The Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard

~On Saturday, June 27th~ ~from noon until 2pm please join the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard as they celebrate the pets of Martha’s Vineyard. ~From 12noon until 2:00pm Sunset Park, in Oak Bluffs will become the center of all things pet!~ Whether your pet is a dog, cat parrot, sheep or something different the Animal Shelter wants you to help celebrate why these companions add to your life.~ Plum TV will be on-site filming the day and Father Nagel of the Good Sheppard Parish will be conducting a blessing of all pets.~ From Noon until 2:00 pm there will be activities for you and your pets to watch and participate in.~ Noted instructor Karen Ogden will be doing a Rally Obedience demonstration and AKC canine good citizen certification will be available.~ There will be a parade of pets around Sunset Lake, raffles, photographs of you with your pets, ribbons awarded and dog treats provided by Good Dog Goods. Meet the staff of the new Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard and learn how you can be a volunteer.~ Pet owners and their pet may also have their pictures taken.

Also on June 27th the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard will be having an open house at the Shelter locating on Pennywise Path off the Edgartown - Vineyard Haven Road. You’ll be able to tour the facilities and enjoy refreshments.~ The open house hours will be from 10am until noon and 3pm until 5pm.
