|The Dukes County Emergency Management Director, Chuck Cotnoir (a volunteer), works very hard to support the island emergency management directors, humanitarian agencies and non-government infrastructure partners with disaster coordination services. In addition, he coordinates the Dukes County Logistics Team in support of the town health agents and humanitarian agencies. He also monitors severe weather reports, likely to impact the island. He disseminates this information via the Ping4 alert system to tourists and emails severe weather warning bulletins to
